In this episode, we walk through some of the faux pas that members of the general public often make that often cause confusion or even playful eye-rolls from members of the Epilepsy community.
This episode was inspired by the #seizurechallenge, a recent Tik Tok trend that has people (mostly teens) uploading videos in which they perform mock convulsive seizures.
While the Epilepsy Foundation has made a recent breakthrough with communication with Tik Tok to start removing the videos, we have also created a blog post containing a letter to the parents of the teens creating #seizurechallenge videos with the hope that we can convince them to help prevent more videos from being uploaded.
