Amber Ann Kaiser

Amber was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up moving around the U.S. She discovered she had epilepsy when she was 21 and went through lots of trial and error and eventually had brain surgery ten years later. She lives in the Dallas area and has spent most of her adult life there and calls the city her home. Before surgery, and despite all the challenges of living with epilepsy, she tried to live her life like “everyone else.” She finished her B.A. in English and marketing and worked for many years in the nonprofit community of the Dallas area. Since having brain surgery and all the different side effects from it including some temporary seizure freedom, she’s learned so much and naturally has even more empathy for anyone going through life-changing health challenges. Amber loves birds and animals, being in nature, traveling whenever possible and always learning new things.
