What You Need to Know
There are many different types of seizures.
Using the same seizure nomenclature helps patients, doctors, and pharmacists.
The onset, is critical to the classification of seizures as it dictates how it originates in the brain.
There are two major different classifications of onsets. Focal seizures involve one side of the brain. Generalized seizures involve both sides of the brain.
